Chaparrí Ecolodge

Chaparrí Ecolodge Located in Lambayeque; Chaparrí Ecolodge is a must for birdwatchers on the northern route. Built along a creek next to the imposing Chaparrí mountain, the tranquility of the lodge and great food provide a memorable experience. The reserve is home to the largest population of the critically threatened White-winged Guan and many more Tumbesian endemics. All staff come from the local community, who also own the 34,400 ha Chaparrí Private Conservation Area

Gocta Andes Lodge

Gocta Andes Lodge a wonderfully located lodge, with all rooms facing the impressive Gocta Falls. The lodge is in the pleasant Cocachimba village which is the starting point for the walk to the falls. The lodge provides excellent accommodation and service in a peaceful setting with easy access to Chachapoyas, Kuelap and the northern birding route.

Owlet Lodge

Owlet Lodge located inside Ecoan’s Abra Patricia - Alto Nieva private conservation area. With expert guides, great food and comfortable accommodation, the lodge is an excellent base for birding the Alto Mayo river valley. Birding is enhanced with a variety of trails, canopy observation tower and hummingbird feeders, allowing the birder to explore the rich birdlife of the Andean cloud forest.

Tucán Suites Aparthotel

Tucán Suites Aparthotel, Tarapoto, is the first hotel of its category in Tarapoto and the only option for the discerning birder. Spacious apartment style rooms and exquisite cuisine will welcome the birder after a day’s exploring the many sites around Tarapoto.

Pumarinri Amazon Lodge

Pumarinri Amazon Lodge is situated in a prime location on the banks of the Huallaga River, with rooms overlooking the river. The property has 62 ha of private reserve for birding. Surrounded by forests, rivers and streams, the area has a diversity of micro-habitats holding many specialty birds as well as easy access to tropical dry forest, tropical montane forest and lowland rainforest.

Muyuna Amazon Lodge

Muyuna Amazon Lodge is located south of Iquitos near the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. The area has more pristine habitat compared to areas north of Iquitos and spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities, with more than 500 bird species recorded for Pacaya Samiria.
